As a home party planner, must I carry liability insurance for the party and entertainers?

I am putting together a children's full service birthday party service. I plan to hire entertainers like clowns and magicians to go to the party location. In this case, who carries the liability? Is it up to the independent entertainer to carry their own insurance, or am I liable as the party service company?
